Practice! Playoffs?!?

This video was posted on YouTube about a year ago. I’m an NFL Network junkie. For awhile Jim Mora was co-hosting one of the network’s shows. Each time he went off on a rant, I couldn’t help but mutter my best imitation of his “Playoffs?” video. This video combines Jim Mora’s video with Allen Iverson’s “Practice” video. Nicely done.

Christmas Lights: Just Add Music

Richard Holdman of Pleasant Grove, Utah is nuts. Kidding, Richard. When my friend, Eddie, decided to buy 20,000 Christmas Lights in an effort to spin his electricity meter as fast as possible, I thought he was nuts. Despite living in a gated community, The Holdman Family light show has caused traffic problems in his neighborhood. You’ll see why in the video below. Thank goodness you didn’t use that damn Trans Siberian Orchestra song, although I bet it would put the previously popular Christmas Lights video to shame.

Back on Sept. 27th, I was watching Boise State host Southern Miss on the “Smurf Turf“. All of a sudden the cameras are focused on a Boise State player in line to use one of the port-a-potties outside the field. Wide receiver, Vinny Perretta had to let it loose.

College Basketball
One blogger described the atmosphere best: “There was March Madness-level intensity, high-flying dunks, bone-crunching fouls, Tajuan Porter stop-and-pops, and K-State guard Bill Walker pissing himself…”. During a game against Oregon last week, Kansas State University guard, Bill Walker, apparently had to use the restroom so bad that he urinated in a bunch of towels DURING the game.

Trinity University Crushes Milsaps College

When I say “crushes” certainly I’m referring to the mental anguish felt by the Milsaps players after this amazing effort by Trinity University. I didn’t take the time to count, but this series of laterals is jawdropping. FYI, Trinity is in my hometown of San Antonio and is often referred to as “Harvard of the South”. Whether or not that’s the case (it is a good school), they’ve been perennial Div III title contenders. They improved to 7-1 on this win.

Florida Student Tasered During John Kerry Speech

Tased and confused probably best describes Andrew Meyer’s recent situation. During a question-and-answer session during a John Kerry appearance, the University of Florida student gets Tased and arrested after he adamately questioned U.S. American Senator Kerry about the 2004 election…oh…and whether or not he and Bush were both members of the secret society Skull and Bones at Yale University.

There are some reports I’ve read out there that say this kid actually rushed the mic interrupting another student mid-question…“Kerry won the 2004 election because of disenfranchisement of black voters and faulty voter machines that produced ‘Bush’ as the winner” and wondered why “President Clinton was impeached because of a blowjob, why not Bush?”. Uh. Hey, man. You can’t say “blowjob”. I mean, you can. But not if you want to not get Tased.
