Everyone is familiar with the popular wedding dance video that took the Internets by storm in 2009. Jeff Wong & Erin Martin decided to produce a “save-the-date” video to remember. I don’t even know these people, but I’ll be ready for the wedding.

Last night’s BCS Championship game lived up to its billing. Not because Colt McCoy led his team to victory on a white horse, or not because of Mark Ingram’s Juggernaut-type performance. Both went out early in seemingly unfortunate situations. But the constant twists and turns forced other players to rise to the occasion.
We’ve all seen Tim Tebow react to similar situations with intensity, emotion and class.
You can always expect the same from Colt McCoy. Best of luck next year, buddy.

Will Grandma Millie & Grandma Fran join the ranks of past Internet sensations? I have no idea, but I can’t stop watching this. It’s Internet gold.

I think it’s well-documented that I’m not a fan of USC Football. Despite my hatred dislike for the squad, their team camaraderie and respect for their coach never goes unnoticed. Running Back Allen Bradford and defensive end Everson Griffen staged a fight that occurred during the last play during drills at practice.
Pete Carroll enlisted the help of singer/songwriter, Bill Withers, to respond in kind to getting punked by his team. Withers impersonated an NCAA official to warn the team about a bone-eating fungus popping up in locker rooms everywhere. After revealing his identity, the team rejoices in its own version of ‘Lean On Me’. The song was followed by a special message given by Bill Withers.
“Don’t lose sight of this camaraderie that you have now. Because the later you go in your life, the less access you will have to this kind of friendship…” Amen, Bill.

The talk of the town in the last few days has been the River North river walk expansion project in San Antonio…also dubbed the Museum Reach, which includes the section between Lexington Avenue and Josephine Street near the Pearl Brewery. Today was the grand opening of this section.
The section boasts a number of features including public restrooms, exhibits by local artists, pedestrian bridges, fish lunkers (shelters), and the lock and dam complex. The lock and dam complex takes approximately 8-10 minutes to allow entry and exit of the barge and to displace 40,000 gallons of water. My brother took a series of photos and turned it into a video montage of the lock and dam process. Enjoy!

With Justin Timberlake making unforgettable Alec Baldwin-esque appearances on Saturday Night Live, my expectations were high for a homerun performance. He and Andy Samberg were back for a follow-up music video to Dick In A Box…just in time for Mother’s Day. It’s not the uncensored version, but you get the idea.
HAPPY MOTHER’S DAY!
