In my list of five must have free BlackBerry apps, I didn’t include a GPS app…primarily because I didn’t find one I really liked.
WHERE is a GPS-based application made up of various widgets. WHERE accesses your phone’s GPS location to first determine your location, and then offers up an assortment of information via each of these widgets.
These widgets currently include Gas Buddy (cheap gas), Starbucks (“cool” coffee), Eventful (concerts), Yelp (reviews), and AccuWeather. You may also add any available widgets via the WHERE app or at WHERE.com.
WHERE is a free app available for the BlackBerry Bold. From the get go, I’m having issues with the GPS recognizing my location. Assuming you’ll have similar issues, there are other options with which to set your spot just in case.
To download this app, visit m.where.com via your BlackBerry.

Where is an app that works in US only. However, there is no mention on their website that all the widgets do not work others. I cannot use it in Australia
