Lovie Smith may have been loyal to Grossman for too long, although as disappointing as the Super Bowl was I didn't really fault Lovie for sticking with Rex. Cedric Benson has looked very unimpressive. He looks slow to me and every time he is tackled, it seems like he doesn't want to get back up. If they had, then maybe they'd be champions right now. this move is about 8 months too late.. but now I think they can salvage their season. Griese isn't really the answer either but I think it is at least worth exploring to see if he can give them something. I'd even be willing to see Orton in there at this point.
