So, it’s Friday the 13th. I was going to throw out some “scary” or “superstitious” links to commemorate the day, but I’m not superstitious (maybe a little scary, though). I’d recommend a Canon SD800IS if you can still find it. The SD850IS is the newer model with 8MP (over the 800′s 7.1MP) but it’s a 35mm-140mm instead of 28mm-105mm, meaning the SD800IS has a 28mm wide angle lens compared to a very ordinary 35mm lens.

Thanks for the reco, Ed. I’m a huge Canon fan. That’s what I’ve got now, and that’s what I’ve always recommended to my friends. And I’m all over the 28mm lens.
