While Australia on the whole is a very dry place, Brisbane is on the coast and has traditionally received good rainfall. We are however in the middle of the worst drought on record. We are just starting the traditional dry season and the dams that service the city are already at critical levels. Plans are being put in place for the eventuality that the dams actually run dry - only a year or so away without good rains. You could send some of your weather our way - but you can keep the tornadoes ;) Spare a thought for us on the other side of the world.
