    AdBlackList Acquired By Vision i.T Services

    April 3rd, 2007 - Read Comments »

    About 2 months ago, I announced that AdsBlackList was up and running again with the help of Vision i.T Services. Well, today Vision i.T acquired AdsBlackList for several thousand dollars. Over the coming months, AdsBlackList will be expanding its services to further aid the development of your business. New features will include:

    • AIP Click Auditing & Fraud Prevention integration – Increases profitability by preventing click fraud and alerting you to clicks landing at an MFA or LCPC site.
    • ABL Toolbar – You can submit sites with just the touch of a button!
    • New sites matching your keywords can be added automatically to your Adsense filter list! {Premium account holders only}

    What Is It & How Do I Use It?
    Registration on AdsBlackList is currently free. With the categories you select based on your site’s content, AdsBlackList will generate a list of MFAs for you to use with Google AdSense, Yahoo! Publisher Network, and Chitika eMiniMalls. I currently use AdsBlackList to generate a list to use in my Google AdSense competitve ad filter. Google allows you to block 200 URLs. This number has yet to increase; Google makes a large amount of money from these MFAs. As discussed in many blogs, the likelihood this limit will be increased is pretty slim. I selected all of the categories and generated a list with the hopes that I’d get the top 200 URLs.

    No need in reinventing the wheel. You can find an excellent post on using the competitive ad filter to increase AdSense earnings on JohnChow.com.
