Final Foes — 2007 Bloggers Tournament

Well, the results are in. We’re down to the final two blogs in the 2007 Bloggers Tournament. Technology & Gadgets blog, #2 Gizmodo.com won handily over The Gamut’s #2 blog, Kineda.com. With a strong campaign and a loyal following, Gizmodo rallied the troops behind them in what would be another incredible win by the tech giant. In a closer battle, the #3 seed in SEO & Blogging, Blue Hat SEO fell just short (30 votes) of current #1 Top Commenter and the 6th seed in the Money & Finance group of blogs, Stock Trader 101. Both brought in a respectable amount of votes; but Gizmodo is the early favorite bringing in a little over 1,400 votes with each campaign effort. Stock Trading 101 will no doubt have its hands full. Who will join Career Ramblings as 2007’s blogging champion?

Campaigning Rules — Earn More Points
Once again in the final round, bloggers will have the ability to earn 20 bonus points by linking to this post to ask its readers for support. However, providing a link directly to the poll will result in a 20 point deduction. Additionally, for every extra blog you get to campaign in your favor, you will earn 15 bonus points. Actually, only about half of the sites participated actively. Regardless, new visitors and added traffic have definitely increased as a result.
