The San Antonio Spurs are on a roll, playing some of the best basketball of the season. Finally. Well, Manu Ginobili is arguably the reason for the recent Spurs’ success. His audacious, yet athletic, form of basketball supplies a new level of energy to the rest of the team. Coach Gregg Popovich once said that “I don’t coach him. I just hope and pray for him because I have no idea what he’s gonna do”. Well, I think he knows by now.
If you watch this at work, turn the volume low. There are some explicit lyrics in the song used as the background music. Be sure to check out the highlight at about 2:55: my favorite Ginobili highlight ever.

Great take and awesome video – someone psoted it on my site as well. Looks like the Spurs could possibly catch Phoenix for the number 2 spot.

Ya, Ginobli is definitely a machine. I actually had the opportunity of standing like 3 feet from him live a few years back, didn’t say anything to him though, haha.

It is funny when some people say that the Spurs plays boring basketball. But the fact is, Parker and Ginobili are two of the best guys at driving to the basket

The spurs do play boring basketball. Well living in LA I’m used to watching Kobe ball up the entire league, so I guess you could say I’m spoiled…

I agree to an extent. But apparently you haven’t seen much of Manu Ginobili. As Andy alluded to, his brand of basketball is anything but boring. And, of course, when Tony Parker gets wound up (regardless of whether or not Eva’s at fault), he’s like the Tazmanian Devil in a downhill slalom to the bucket.
I will say…*gulp*…that I think Kobe is this year’s MVP. Either way, the Spurs are better.
