Toddlers Gone Wild

I’ve been pretty busy lately trying to get my new project started on top of my regular work schedule, so admitedly I’m kinda slackin’ on the posts. And I may not post for a couple of days. But I thought I’d share a little tidbit…parents can relate.

Last night, Lil D & I were getting ready to go to dinner. I asked him to “make peepee” before we left. So, he did. Went into the restroom. Dropped trou to his knees…all while cluthcing his precious new toy truck. So, I let him be as I’ve done many times — he’s a big boy and “can do it by myself, daddy”. About 30 seconds into the peepee, I hear the truck drop and and the pee stop. He was trying to pick up his truck but forgot to stop peeing. My newly cleaned bathroom floor (the cleaning lady had just left) was covered in peepee. And the truck has been impounded and requires a bleach bath. Moral of the story? Even though you insist that your toddlers put down their toys everytime before they go to the bathroom, make sure they do it. I think that’s the moral of the story.
